Daily Uprising reports on the growing conservative counter-revolution online. From tea parties to twitter reports, we write about online advocacy on behalf of political liberty.
Our website is edited and published by Brandon Martin. Brandon is an attorney in Santa Barbara and Bakersfield, California, and an acknowledged expert in online organization and advocacy, internet law, and e-commerce. He received a degree from UCLA in mass media communication studies before receiving his law degree from Berkeley Law. He has served as a congressional staffer in Washington D.C., hosted a talk radio program, edited a legal trade publication, and practiced law with some of the largest and most-respected law firms in the world including Paul, Hastings, Janofsky, & Walker, LLP and Borton Petrini, LLP.

In Daily Handpicked Headlines, we provide links to some of the very best examples of conservative and libertarian advocacy including the latest blog rants, video projects, strategic reports, and event news. We usually update this feature multiple times a day in order to feature breaking news and the latest content.
Daily Dissent
In Daily Dissent, we respond to the organized Left’s latest blogging points and/or add to our own growing list of grievances with the changing scene.
Daily Rebellion Resources
In Daily Rebellion Resources, we post links to web pages, books, events, and organizations that can assist conservative and libertarian online advocates find content, support, and comraderie. We also interview other successful conservative and libertarian commentators online and offline and present their insights here.
Daily Screening
During our site’s pre-launch, we noticed that visitors particularly enjoyed our links to the best of conservative and libertarian streaming video. In response, we decided to create a Daily Screening section where the best of our online video selections could be easily browsed.
Random Thoughts
Thomas Sowell occasionally writes a column called “Random Thoughts.” It reads like a collection of brief insights and passing thoughts that might not quite warrant a full column by themselves, but that deserve to be shared with readers, anyway. Random Thoughts is our place to post our passing thoughts, distracted musings, important warnings, or sudden insights that aren’t appropriate for the other sections of the site.
Freedom Grid
Freedom Grid is a collection of some of the best sources of conservative and libertarian thought online. Currently, the page is devoted to a matrix of the leading tweet searches for tea party related information.
Bookstore
The Daily Uprising Bookstore is a place where you can find the best in Books and DVDs on political liberty. The bookstore also includes selections relevant to those interested in the techniques and strategies of online advocacy. We’ll continue to add both non-fiction and fiction books for liberty-lovers as we’re introduced to newer releases that merit inclusion, but we like to remain selective. Transactions are run entirely by Amazon.com and the prices are the same as if you purchased on Amazon.com directly, but if you purchase through our bookstore our website receives a fraction of the purchase price to help cover operation costs.
