Free Republic: Message Board and Meeting Place
ByThe Free Republic message board site has been around since the Clinton years and, as far as we can tell, it has never stopped growing. It’s a great place to engage in a little threaded conversation with like-minded conservative and libertarian folks. If you stay long-enough, you might eventually start referring to yourself as a “freeper” and start sending “Freepmail” to your friends.
If you ever see an online poll in which Obama is getting a C or lower, it may be because the population has lost faith in their Dear Leader, but it’s just as likely that the Freepers were called en masse to contribute their votes to the poll… to even things out a bit. As far as a home for online calls to action, the Free Republic has been a leader for years.
Recently, the site announced that they will be hosting the 1st Annual Free Republic National Tea party Convention in Washington D.C., leading up to the Taxpayer March on 9/12.
