FreedomWorks
ByFreedomWorks is a national organization that does a whole host of things including help foster online and offline grassroots movements in support of liberty. The organization was the result of a merger between giants Citizens for a Sound Economy (CSE) and Empower America about five years ago, and a whole host of individuals have been involved in growing the organization including Dick Armey, Jack Kemp, Steve Forbes, C Boyden Gray, Max Pappas, Matt Kibbe, as well as publisher Thomas Knudsen and Napa Valley’s Bill Jaeger.
Freedomworks has really come of age, however, as online advocacy has become more important, and the group is often referred to as the Right’s answer to MoveOn.org. The online conservative counter-revolution is not cetnralized in any one group, but the folks at Freedomworks can provide expert advice and counsel for those interested in joining the cause.
