Red State and Red County: Republican Network Blogging
ByAt Daily Uprising, we like to think we transcend party politics in our advocacy of liberty. We also like to support independent as opposed to network conservative and libertarian blogs whenever possible.
Nevertheless, we occasionally read and recommend Red State and Red County, two network blogs with some of the best Republican commentary around.
After the DrudgeReport, Red State is probably the most highly-read right-of-center network blog page on Capital Hill and is frequently cited in the media. We’re particularly fond of Erik Erikson and Caleb Howe’s posts on the site.
Red County is a growing network blog providing voices to individual counties. There’s a good chance that your county is not yet served by the site, yet. If you have the time and you’d like to post on local issues in your area, Red County might be a good place for you to start your own blog.
