Smart Girl Politics: Online Resources for Conservative Women (Part I)
By Brandon MartinHere’s a fact radical feminists don’t mention much: There’s a sincere and rapidly growing online movement of women… who aren’t politically liberal, who don’t worship Gloria Steinem, and who love both liberty and life.
We’ve wanted to highlight many of the web pages and other online resources these women have created individually for some time now not just because we are thrilled to see that right wing women make better webmasters, but because much of the content is of extremely high quality and equally valuable to women and men alike.
Take, today’s resource: Smart Girl Politics. Smart Girl Politics is a network blogging / social media site where Heather frequently cross-posts select articles from Daily Uprising. The site provides new members with their own blog space and encourages social networking amongst bloggers – complete with ribbons and pink graphical accessories. One of the best features of the site is that members can join state action groups for localized updates and content from other members from their state.
The founders of Smart Girl Politics and their team of contributors were a big part of the national tea party’s success last month and we know the site will be even more influential in the future.
