Teh Resistance Blog: Conservative Commentary with South Park Attitude

Amateur sociologists and armchair pundits enjoy talking about Democratic Big Tents and Republican Small Tents, but in our experience, the conservative Republican crowd is a fairly diverse group — some with advanced degrees and some with intricate tattoos, some like the library and some like the shooting range… and some become obsessed with Comedy Central’s South Park.

What’s the moral in this? There are a lot of conservative and Republican blogs today, but most are thematically similar. One way to successfully add to the movement online is for a conservative blog to reject joining the herd and distinguish itself by appealing to a niche group that might not otherwise get excited about conservative commentary as it’s traditionally communicated. We find these outlier blogs are also more passionate and uniquely insightful as well.

Sure, that combination isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s little doubt sites like The Teh Resistance add to the richness of conservative online advocacy.
