We don’t believe that Obama is ambitious or foolish enough to entertain discussions about ceding independent control of our money supply to an international body.  He is, after all, a student of recent history and the debate in the UK over adoption of the EURO and admission into the EU became a painful thorn in Labor’s side not so long ago.  The resistence in the United States to any such talk would and should be exponentially greater.

Republican and Democrat leaders in Congress should take the opportunity to write a letter to the President explaining that he is not constitutionally-entitled to cede control over the country’s money supply to anyone.  They should promise not to wait for the Supreme Court to defend the Constitution, but to openly oppose any sovereignty not described in the Constitution and any transfer of legislative power to authorities not elected by citizens of the United States.

Obama really doesn’t care about constitutionality of a world currency. He actually doesn’t seem to care about constitutionality of the Second Amendment either.

Morris is right to be concerned. Obama really believes he is the Savior and that he has a mandate to exceed powers granted to Him. Besides, most Democrats believe they are better people and shouldn’t have to abide by rules the rest of us do… rules like.. paying taxes.
