Can We Count on Mr. LaHood?: One More Example of Why Funding RiNOs is Counterproductive

By Brandon Martin

One more reason why the Republican Party should not continue to spend resources on RiNOs (Republican in Name Only):  Ray LaHood.  As many of you know, Ray LaHood was a “moderate,” congressman from Illinois with a zero percent CPAC rating up until he was appointed by President Barack Obama as his Transportation Secretary.  Transportation Secretary LaHood serves on the Presidential Task Force on the auto industry that many people online and off-line now believe, based on statistical evidence, has been actively persecuting Republican Chrysler dealer owners as payback or in order to help owners of competing Chrysler dealerships who made political contributions to the President or Democratic Party.

As we begin to hear calls for investigation into the President’s Auto Task Force and its role in persecuting Republicans for their political beliefs, we will hear answers from the Obama Administration insisting that the President chose to include a Republican, Mr. LaHood, on the Task Force in order to do his part to prevent such wrong-doing from occurring.  Right now, if Mr. LaHood were actually a Republican he would be calling for an investigation within the Task Force to determine what happened…if he wasn’t himself a part of the effort to persecute Republicans.

Mr. LaHood can be contacted at the cozy office provided to him, as a result of his appointment by President Barack Obama, at the following address: U.S. Department of Transportation, 1200 New Jersey Ave SE, Washington, D.C. 20590, Phone: 202-366-4000

Yet another disgusting example of this one party government we have now. I heard John Gibson today say that Republicans should fall in behind the Supreme Court nominee, so as not to alienate Hispanic voters. If Republicans don’t fight the battles, but cave in just to get votes next cycle, then all we will have is a right wing side to the Democratic party. I would rather have two real Republicans in Congress, than a majority of RiNOs screwing this country like the Democrats. Thanks Mr. LaHood for being a part of the problem.
