The Crazy Eight: Republicans Who Voted For Waxman-Markey
ByThe House of Representatives approved the Waxman-Markey energy tax by a margin of 219-212. We’d like to point out that the Democrats did not have the votes to pass the legislation without the following eight Republicans who joined the majority for this monster tax:

- Kirk (IL) 202-225-4835
- Lance (NJ) 202-225-5361
- Lobiondo (NJ) 202-225-6572
- McHugh (NY) 202-225-4611
- Reichart (WA) 202-225-7761
- Chris Smith (NJ) 202-225-3765
This is a huge slap at a popular conservative movement that campaigned fervently online and offline against this tax. We think that primary opponents should probably begin their campaigns to unseat these RiNOs today.
