I want to go so badly, but I don't have a job and cannot afford it! My dad's health is in jeopardy (in his 60's) and he's fixing to lose his job so we literally do not have the money to travel there. If someone has frequent flyer miles or something and can arrange for a way for me and my mother (if possible) to make the trip, we will go and fight!
If you have questions or would like to talk to me about this, email me at thinkofacard(at)gmail(dot)com
Thank you so much!
Jonathan, we hope you're able to make the trip! There are lots of ways you can contribute to the fight online without heading off to D.C. and without paying for much more than your monthly internet subscription. Let us know if you'd like to blog or get more involved with online advocacy and we'll see what we can do to help.
