Darla is the one local host with the guts to take on anyone, she even took on Jesse Jackson, and he couldnt handle it! Dennis Moore is the worst kind of Democrat ( like there is a good kind )he is the snake in the grass Dem, The man stood in front of me, shook my hand and pledged his support for the 2nd Amendment, look at his voting record on anything firearms related..LIAR. The glass is half full my friend. I put a link to Draft Darla on my blog...I believe she can win and she is in it to help Kansas and America! I don't know anything about Darla's district, but I hope she runs and brings Melissa with her as a legislative aide. I thoroughly enjoyed working in D.C. and I did learn a little something in between kickball games on the mall, too. It might be saying too much, but all candidates should bring at least one true believer with them in a significant staff position... just so that they have to face looks of disappointment if they learn to compromise too easily. Don't be a cynic! I would NEVER use Melissa to help me advance anything! She is a wonderful young woman, who offered to intern for me and my show free several months ago. I absolutely adore her, and think she has a very bright future! As for the DRAFT DARLA facebook page, and Melissa's appeal, I had nothing to do with either one of them. I am honored and have put some thought into whether I could even win. I have a career I love and a radio job that is actually kind of stable(very unusual), and the question is, do I want to give that up? The other question is this: Can I do more for my community as a Talk Host or a Congressional candidate? I don't know the answer to that, yet.
