To John and Keith,

It's so important that we don't forget the sacrifices of our military members. So, I just wanted to drop a note thanking the both of your for sharing your thoughts and stories with us on Memorial Day.

My family attended ceremonies at the National Cemetery in St. Louis yesterday. Several thousand scouts (of which my son is one) placed flags on the graves of over 150,000 soldiers, sailors and airmen. It was an emotional but terrific ceremony. I was one of the pipers that marched in with the scouts. It was heartwarming to see all those young people taking part in an effort to honor so many of our nation's most worthy citizens.
