Daily Uprising is an independent blog, and we plan to stay that way. Contributions from our regular visitors help us to defray server costs and allow us to spend more time creating new content for the site. If you’d like to help, there are multiple ways you can support this website:

1. Donate

If you enjoy our work and the community we are building here at Daily Uprising and you’d like to contribute to the cause, we’ve set up an account with PayPal to accept donations. Daily Uprising is primarily a labor of love and does not have paid employees, but it does have server and maintenance costs. Donations are very much appreciated!

2. Visit our Bookstore

Each time you order one of the books from our bookstore, we receive a small contribution from Amazon.com. The books should be the same price in our bookstore as on Amazon’s main site. So, if you were going to buy any of these books from Amazon.com anyway, choosing to order through our bookstore interface instead allows you to contribute to Daily Uprising indirectly without paying more for the book. We update the bookstore regularly with both our favorites and our latest discoveries.

3. Spread the word

In order to help defray costs, we’ve added Adsense advertising to both our site and our RSS feed. We’re compensated a very small amount for each thousand people who visit our website and whenever a visitor clicks on one of the advertisements that say “Sponsored Links.” The more people who become regular visitors to Daily Uprising, the more visits and clicks our sponsors are likely to receive. Passing on the word to your friends, family, and interested brother’s in arms doesn’t cost anything, but it is one of the best ways you can contribute to the growth of our site.
